Here at Cozy Comp, we believe in being open and simple in our pricing. Whereas other shops will take your computer and bill you for “hours” worked which you never were able to witness, we provide flat rate pricing for our services.
Just remember - all appointments have a $49 minimum.
Computer Repair - $99
Big or l, Cozy Comp’s low flat rate price will make getting your computer repaired simpler than ever. For a third of what the Squad charges for in-home repair, Cozy Comp will do virus removal, sound/display problems, connection problems and more. Call today.
Computer Refurbishing - $99
Take the old computer out of the closet and put it into action for a family member or friend in need of a basic machine. Cozy will wipe out your old computer, reinstall Windows, remove dust, clean the case and have it ready for action in no time. Don’t let the old computer go to waste!
Computer Shopping Assistance - $99
Cozy Comp will handle all the difficulties of purchasing a new computer for you - including transferring up to 4 GB of data from your old computer! We will install your new computer, take away your old one and leave your computing space like we found it. Except, of course, with a different computer on the desk.
Basic Network Setup - $99
When it comes to wireless networks, Cozy Comp has you covered. With setup and maintenance available, we can allow you to share Internet access, printers and files. Give us a call today to make your house a more productive and entertaining place to live. Basic Network Setup allows for up to three computers and one network device, with an extra charge option for additional computers and devices.
Data Backup System - $69
Your data is precious, and it is heartbreaking to see improperly backed-up data get accidentally deleted or, worse, wiped out by a virus. Your data deserves to be protected. For a nominal fee Cozy Comp will configure your computer to automatically back up your important files to a USB drive on a regular basis, deleting older backups as new ones are made. Advanced Hardware/Software Upgrade - $69
Have your new optical drive, video card, hard drive, operating system or other hardware/software tool installed professionally. Advanced hardware includes hardware that is within the computer, and printer/scanners with fax setup. Advanced software includes operating systems and other higher-level software packages.
Network Repair - $69
The network is down and your home or small office comes to an immediate slump. The screen is telling you something about a WPA key and you’re pretty sure you heard the letters DHCP mentioned somewhere in there. Have no fear, you have Cozy Comp on your side. One visit and your network is up and running better than before, usually in under an hour. Now that’s service you can get used to.
Internet Setup - $69
Cozy Comp knows the criminality of dial-up. We’ve seen lives ruined by 56k, families torn apart by America Online. But unlike the hand-wringers in the magazines and newspapers, we’ve decided to do something. $69 setup for your new high-speed Internet connection. It’s unusual to see a deal like this, but then it’s unusual to see a service like Cozy Comp. We do it because we care.
Simple Hardware/Software Upgrade - $49
Have your new printer, scanner, external drive, antivirus suite, office application or other tool installed professionally. Simple hardware includes hardware that is external from the computer, excluding printer/scanners with fax setup. Simple software includes antivirus suites, office productivity suites and other lower-levels software packages.
Computer Tune-Up - $49
One of the most common problems with computers is that they “stale,” that is, they slow down over time. Spyware, Adware and Crapware are all responsible for this problem, along with cached files, temp files, fragmented drives and more fun stuff. A computer optimization and checkup removes minor issues such as the ones listed above and gets your computer back to new again. You’ll be amazed at the difference.
Memory Upgrade - $49
RAM (Random Access Memory) is the short-term memory of your computer. Although we can’t just install more memory into our heads, our computers can be upgraded and customized to allow faster performance and a better computing experience. Allow Cozy Comp to come to your house, assess your RAM type, shop for the RAM for you and install it all for less than the big chains charge just to put it in. It’s nice to be a Cozy Comp customer.
Simple Backup - $29
Cozy Comp will backup one DVD worth of data (4.7 GB) to disc for your safe keeping. Having a backup is very important in case of future hard drive failure or virus infection.
Tutoring Assistance - $30/hr
Cozy Comp also offers tutoring assistance for $30 an hour. After your computer repair, feel free to make use of our Tutoring Assistance product to ask about everything that confuses you and get a grip on your computer. You can do it!
